Each stoneware dessert plate I create in my Provençal studio is a little invitation to indulgence and whimsy. I shaped this plate in a light beige stoneware that I love for its natural texture and strength. The blue kite motif, which I draw freehand, adds a poetic touch and evokes the simple joys of sunny afternoons.
