Handmade stoneware pasta bowls for everyday meals
Our handmade stoneware pasta bowls are among the most versatile pieces in the collection. Perfect for pasta dishes, soups, salads, grain bowls, and everyday family meals, they are designed to be used often and enjoyed for years.
Each bowl is handcrafted in my pottery workshop in Provence, France, using high-fired grogged stoneware. This durable clay creates strong, reliable tableware that brings both beauty and practicality to everyday dining.
Stoneware pasta bowls with character
The RITA collection features hand-drawn blue check patterns created using a cobalt pencil. The graphic design combines vintage inspiration with a contemporary feel while preserving the spontaneous charm of handmade pottery.
The contrast between the blue decoration and the natural texture of the stoneware creates a warm and timeless aesthetic. Because every piece is made by hand, slight variations in the drawing, glaze, and firing make each bowl unique.
These handmade pasta bowls work equally well in modern kitchens and more traditional interiors, pairing easily with a wide variety of tableware collections.
Handcrafted in Provence
Every Grandchose creation is made entirely by hand in my workshop in Provence. Each piece passes through multiple stages, including shaping, drying, a first firing, hand decoration, glazing, and a second firing.
This slow process preserves the authenticity of handmade pottery and allows the marks of the maker’s hand to remain visible in every piece.
The transparent glossy glaze protects the surface while revealing the natural beauty and texture of the stoneware underneath.
Durable and easy to live with
The high-fired stoneware used for these handmade pasta bowls provides excellent resistance to daily use. They are dishwasher safe, highly durable, and designed to withstand years of regular meals and repeated washing.
At Grandchose, I believe tableware should be simple to use and made to last. These are pieces designed for everyday life: practical, timeless, and the kind of objects people naturally grow attached to over time.
