PACO Blue Striped Pitcher

An artisanal striped pitcher designed for real life

This Grandchose striped pitcher is entirely hand-formed and decorated in my workshop. I use a raw, light beige stoneware, which I intentionally leave visible under a lead-free transparent glaze to preserve the natural texture of the clay. The blue lines, painted with a brush and cobalt blue, create a simple, lively, slightly irregular graphic rhythm that makes each piece unique.

I love creating utilitarian objects that naturally find their place in daily life. This stoneware carafe was designed for everyday use: serving fresh water at the table, accompanying a summer meal, or simply sitting in the kitchen as a beautiful, living object.

With its generous capacity of approximately one liter, this stoneware jug is perfect for meals with family or friends. Its slender silhouette allows it to easily fit in the center of the table without cluttering the space. The combination of light beige stoneware and blue stripes gives it a minimalist yet warm look, easy to pair with various tableware styles.

A stoneware carafe with a simple and ergonomic design

For this artisanal jug, I paid particular attention to the handle and spout. The grip needed to remain comfortable even when the pitcher is full. The handle therefore has a fluid, ergonomic shape that naturally balances the weight of the piece during serving.

The pouring spout ensures a clean and precise flow, without excessive drips on the table. These are small details, but they are what make an object pleasant to use every day.

Beyond its role as a water pitcher, this striped pitcher can also easily be repurposed as a vase. A few fresh flowers, branches, or foliage are often enough to give it a very simple and natural decorative presence in your home.

A durable and dishwasher-safe stoneware pitcher

Like all Grandchose creations, this artisanal stoneware carafe is designed to last. The high-temperature stoneware used in the workshop allows for the creation of solid pieces, suitable for intensive daily use.

Unlike some more fragile or purely decorative ceramics, this pitcher is very dishwasher-safe. The hand-painted patterns are fired at high temperatures with the piece, ensuring their durability over time despite repeated use.

I love the idea of creating simple, beautiful, and truly useful objects. Pieces you use without a special occasion, that you keep for a long time, and to which you naturally become attached over the years.
