Stoneware Spoon Rest: A Handcrafted Seaside Touch for Your Kitchen
Each stoneware spoon rest I make in my Provence studio is a one-of-a-kind piece. I chose a light beige stoneware, both sturdy and warm. The blue seashell motif, which I draw freehand, evokes the softness of the seaside and adds a delicate note to this everyday accessory. The lead-free clear glaze I use protects the piece while letting the raw beauty of the clay show through.
With a diameter of around 15 cm and a discreet height of 1 cm, this spoon rest is both functional and space-saving. It will hold your spoons and other utensils while you cook, keeping your countertop clean.
Like all my Grandchose creations, it’s designed for everyday use and cleans easily in the dishwasher. This small object is the detail that makes all the difference in a kitchen where authenticity and handmade truly belong.
