Ceramic Spoon Rest: A School of Artisanal Sardines on Your Countertop

Each ceramic spoon rest I create in my Provençal workshop is a little scene of life drawn on stoneware. I shaped this spoon rest in light beige clay, which I love for its simplicity and authenticity. The blue sardines motif, which I draw freehand, brings a joyful note and evokes the pleasures of sunny lunches by the water.

With its 15 cm diameter and discreet 1 cm height, it will hold your spoons and other utensils while you cook, protecting your countertop with an artisanal touch. This spoon rest isn’t just practical, it’s also a beautiful decorative object that will bring an original note to your kitchen.

A Provençal spoon rest inspired by the South

This model follows the tradition of the Provençal spoon rest, those simple little objects kept within reach during meal preparation. The sardines motif naturally evokes Mediterranean ports, Southern markets and long summer gatherings. I also like to think of this model as a modern spoon rest, able to find its place in very different kitchens.
