This handmade stoneware Ola mug perfectly reflects my love of graphic patterns and brushwork. Unlike the precise line of a pencil, the blue checks here are hand-painted, creating subtle shade variations and a liveliness unique to the artisan’s gesture. I shape each mug in light beige stoneware, a clay chosen for its soft look and outstanding durability. The handle has been specifically designed to offer a smooth silhouette and an ergonomic grip, making this piece especially pleasant to use every day.

With a 38 cl capacity, this handmade stoneware mug is the perfect companion for your teas, herbal infusions, or large hot drinks. Its 10.5 cm height helps keep heat in while staying stable. To protect the painted design, I apply a transparent, lead-free glaze that lets the natural texture of the raw clay show through.
Fully dishwasher-safe, this mug is made to last. High-temperature firing turns the stoneware into a waterproof, very strong material, perfectly suited to intensive food use. It’s a piece that reflects my attachment to well-made objects, where design meets the functionality of French craftsmanship.
