The Loulou bowl is a central piece of my work in the workshop, where I aim to create objects with a soul. This ‘Loulou’ model is hand-shaped from light beige stoneware, a clay I appreciate for its strength and mineral texture. I trace the nickname in blue pencil directly onto the raw clay, a gesture that makes each inscription unique and slightly vibrant. This bowl isn’t just decorative: with its side handles and generous dimensions, it’s designed to be comfortably held every day.

This artisanal bowl with the nickname ‘Loulou’ offers a capacity of 40 cl, making it very versatile, whether for a large latte, hot chocolate, or a hearty soup. I cover the piece with a transparent, lead-free glaze to protect the design while allowing the natural color of the stoneware to show through.
It’s a robust object that perfectly withstands dishwasher use. For me, craftsmanship should be part of everyday life; this bowl is therefore designed to be used, washed, and loved for many years without losing its luster.
