PACO Penciled Grid Pitcher

An artisanal grid pitcher with a graphic and minimalist style

This grid pitcher was born in my workshop with the desire to create a piece that’s both simple, lively, and easy to use every day. Each carafe is handcrafted from a light beige stoneware that I intentionally leave visible under a lead-free transparent glaze to preserve the natural texture of the clay.

The design is entirely hand-drawn in black pencil. The fine grid lines create a subtle and slightly irregular graphic rhythm that brings a lot of softness to the piece. I love this simple and spontaneous aesthetic, somewhere between a sketchbook, a utilitarian object, and contemporary tableware.

Each line has small variations that make every pitcher unique. No grid is perfectly identical to another, and that’s precisely what gives this artisanal carafe its warm and authentic presence.

Its minimalist design allows it to easily find its place in different settings: a contemporary kitchen, a more rustic table, or a Mediterranean-inspired interior. The contrast between the light beige stoneware and the black lines creates a graphic yet easy-to-live-with piece, designed to accompany everyday life for a long time.

A stoneware carafe designed for real life

Beyond its decorative appeal, this grid pitcher is above all a utilitarian object designed to be used every day. With its capacity of about one liter, it easily accompanies family meals, large summer gatherings, or simpler everyday moments.

Its tall, slender silhouette allows it to be easily placed in the center of the table without cluttering the space. I paid particular attention to the handle so it remains comfortable to hold even when the pitcher is full. Its fluid shape allows for a natural and balanced gesture when pouring.

The spout has also been crafted to offer a clean and precise pour. It’s often these subtle details that make an object pleasant to use over the years.

This artisanal jug can also easily be repurposed as a vase. A few fresh flowers, branches, or foliage are often enough to give it a very simple and natural decorative presence in the home.

A durable stoneware pitcher that’s dishwasher safe

The high-temperature stoneware used in my workshop creates solid pieces suited for intensive daily use. Unlike some more fragile or purely decorative ceramics, this grid pitcher is designed to truly live at the rhythm of the home.

It goes in the dishwasher without any problem, making daily maintenance easy. The hand-drawn designs are fired with the piece to ensure they hold up well despite repeated use and frequent washing.
