At first, I simply wanted to create a useful object. Today, our ceramic pitcher is one of the pieces we probably use most often at home. <\/p>\n

It sits on the table during meals, gets us through long days of working from home, sometimes holds a few flowers from the garden, and moves effortlessly from the dishwasher to the family table. Unlike certain objects we buy just to decorate, a pitcher is something that truly lives with us. That\u2019s probably why it\u2019s gradually returning to our kitchens, at a time when we\u2019re looking for more simplicity, durability, and objects that can stand the test of time. <\/p>\n

Why use a ceramic pitcher every day?<\/h2>\n

A ceramic pitcher has something that plastic bottles or standard carafes sometimes struggle to offer: a presence.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re happy to leave it on the table; it goes with meals and adds to the feel of the home. It doesn\u2019t get tucked away in a cupboard between uses. That closeness gradually turns a simple utilitarian object into an everyday companion. <\/p>\n

Stoneware also feels pleasant in the hand. Warmer than glass, more durable than many industrial materials, it lasts for years without losing its charm. A well-designed ceramic carafe quickly becomes second nature: you fill it, set it on the table, and use it without even thinking about it. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s also a particularly versatile object. Depending on the moment, it can become a ceramic water jug, an improvised vase for a few fresh flowers, or a simple decorative element in the kitchen. <\/p>\n

If the water jug is coming back into interiors today, it\u2019s not only for aesthetic reasons.<\/p>\n

Many of us are trying to reduce unnecessary packaging, buy less but better, and choose durable objects. In this context, the pitcher naturally finds its place again. It embodies a kind of simplicity we sometimes thought we\u2019d lost. <\/p>\n

A simple tip to rediscover tap water<\/h2>\n

In France, we\u2019re lucky to have tap water that is generally very good quality.<\/p>\n

Yet many people still buy bottled water because they sometimes find tap water too chlorinated. There\u2019s an extremely simple solution: let the water sit for about thirty minutes in a ceramic carafe or pitcher. <\/p>\n

Because chlorine is volatile, it naturally evaporates on contact with air. After just a few minutes, the taste often becomes much more subtle. <\/p>\n

Using a ceramic pitcher every day therefore not only helps reduce plastic consumption, but also brings back the pleasure of drinking tap water in better conditions.<\/p>\n

When I create a pitcher, I\u2019m not trying to make a simple decorative object.<\/p>\n
